About This Protocol

Retatrutide is a triple receptor agonist that simultaneously targets GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptors. This triple mechanism represents a more comprehensive approach to receptor pathway modulation than single or dual agonists. Research published in the New England Journal of Medicine (2023) examined retatrutide in Phase 2 clinical trials.

This is a physician-supervised compounded medication available through licensed TeleWellnessMD® providers. Availability is currently limited to select states. The physician evaluates each patient individually.

Triple Receptor Mechanism
Glucagon receptor agonism adds a third pathway to the GLP-1 and GIP effects — potentially increasing energy expenditure through thermogenic and hepatic mechanisms. The combination of all three pathways has been studied for metabolic effects.
Clinical Research
A Phase 2 trial published in the New England Journal of Medicine (2023) examined triple agonism in 338 adults over 24 weeks. The research reported significant effects on metabolic markers compared to placebo. Results from individual patients varied.
State Availability
This protocol is currently available in select states only (primarily PR). Your TeleWellnessMD® physician will confirm availability in your location during the evaluation process.
Dosing Progression
Progressive dosing from 4mg through 12mg allows the body to adapt to triple receptor activation. The physician determines appropriate dosing based on individual patient assessment and response.
