About This Protocol

Amino Max is a comprehensive injectable amino acid blend formulated with eight compounds per mL: Arginine (75mg), Carnitine (25mg), Taurine (15mg), Proline (30mg), Acetylcysteine (15mg), Ornithine (30mg), Citrulline (50mg), and Lidocaine (10mg). Each component has independent peer-reviewed research on its physiological roles.

This physician-supervised protocol is available through licensed TeleWellnessMD® providers in select states. The physician determines dosing and administration schedule based on individual assessment.

Nitric Oxide Precursors
Arginine, Citrulline, and Ornithine are all involved in the urea cycle and nitric oxide synthesis pathway. L-arginine is the direct substrate for nitric oxide synthase. Research has examined these compounds for cardiovascular and endothelial function.
L-Carnitine
Carnitine facilitates the transport of long-chain fatty acids across the inner mitochondrial membrane for beta-oxidation. Studies have examined carnitine supplementation in the context of energy metabolism and exercise performance.
Acetylcysteine (NAC)
N-Acetylcysteine is a glutathione precursor and direct antioxidant. It provides cysteine — the rate-limiting amino acid in glutathione synthesis. NAC has been studied for oxidative stress, respiratory function, and liver protection.
Taurine
Taurine is a conditionally essential amino acid involved in bile acid conjugation, membrane stabilization, and calcium signaling. Research has examined its cardioprotective and neuroprotective properties.
